About Find Labradoodle or Golden Doodle Colorado Springs

Find Labradoodle or Golden Doodle Colorado Springs?
I am looking for this breed of dog and prepared to pay for it. However, I can't seem to find any breeders in my city of 500k population. There has to be a breeder in town. Don't want to travel beyond my city. Any ideas how I can find one? I also would just buy one from anybody, not just a breeder. Ideas? thanks

Answer 1 :
You could go look at ther pound or something because sometimes u find the best animals where you least expect them and you r saving a innocent life that where i found our labrador.
Answer 2 :
I'd start with www.petfinder.com if you will consider an older dog in need of a home. By older, I don't mean "old" either. We've had a few Doodle-dogs come through our local shelter that were <1 year of age. Also, please remember that neither Labradoodles or Goldendoodles are "breeds." They are mutts, point blank, and I think all these "breeders" charging outrageous prices for a mixed breed dog are completely unethical and stupid.
Answer 3 :
"Breeders" of these mutts are dwindling due to the "fad" of these coming to an end in favor of the "new fad" breeds like the Multipoo, and the others!! Lots are starting to come through shelters following the fad.
Answer 4 :
There must be THOUSANDS of IRRESPONSIBLE/GREEDY**CROOKS** just drooling over the possibility of yet another ignorant/gullible FOOL wanting to PAY them for a POS MUTT/MONGREL!!!! **********NOT*********** a "breed" - JUST a HORRIBLE,big ugly HAIRY MUTT/MONGREL w/a STUPID "label" stuck on it!!!! Now you're EDJUMAKATED...DON'T DO IT!
Answer 5 :
Check petfinder or your local paper. Occasionally they can be found in shelters. Alot of times these dogs will be put through programs for assistance dogs due to the fact they are mostly hypoallergenic. Alot of the dogs who do not make it through the program end up at shelters so make sure to check shelters as well then you'll have one thats already trained. Good Luck.
Answer 6 :
It is only a mix breed dog (mutt) with a fancy name. Go to the shelter and pick one out. And yes I love all dogs
Answer 7 :
go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and enter breed wanted, like Labrador or Golden Retriever, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees MIX from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt a Labradoodle or Golden Doodle today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a Labradoodle or Golden Doodle as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!
Answer 8 :
Don't support back yard breeders, that is all that any of these "designer dog" breeders are. Look in your shelters, there are PLENTY of mixed breeds there. Or go to Petfinder and search shelters there for specific mixes

About TRAVEL -- how long will it take to get there

TRAVEL -- how long will it take to get there?
I am traveling from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Watertown, New York. We will never be stopping (we will take turns driving) and will go at an average of 65 miles per hour. How long will it take to do this trip??

Answer 1 :
28 hrs It will actually take longer you're going to have to stop for gas unless you have a solar powered car. By the way its 1800 miles. You're also going to have to drive about 75 mph to average 65 to make up for the time you stop.
Answer 2 :
The trip is about 1800 miles, almost all of which is via Interstate highway. It will take about 30 hours, assuming you only stop for gas/restrooms and don't run into ANY traffic or mechanical problems

About What is there to do in Boulder and Colorado Springs, CO

What is there to do in Boulder and Colorado Springs, CO?
I am traveling out to the Boudler area this summer for cycling. For when I'm not riding I was wondering what to do? I hear that there is a lot to do for fun. Does anyone have any details on things that I shouldn't miss?

Answer 1 :
get there and find out
Answer 2 :
My friend there is plenty to do in the state of Colorado, If you enjoy cycling, check out any visitors bureau that is out there and they will give you plenty of info. Ihave a buddy that works for them and he is always willing to share fun things to do.
Answer 3 :
go to the university and visit the library. find some students around campus that may be able to offer suggestions. visit a nearby pizza place and get a beer and talk to others. do not forget to visit winter park about 60 miles up into the mountains. fun in winter for skiers but also great to hike or camp or enjoy the air. Biking on leval trails in frazer by winter park is EZ fun.
Answer 4 :
There is a town called Estes Park about 35 minutes north of Boulder on 36. It is a beautiful town, and the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. If you happen to be there on the 4th of July they have a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Estes. If you are religious, there is a cathedral called St. Mahlos I believe, in between Estes Park and Raymond, Co on 7 that is very historic. The scenery itself is almost enough to keep you busy. If you enjoy topless women, there is a bar called the BusStop in Boulder that was pretty cool. There is a strip of stores and restraunts in downtown Boulder that had a great piano bar, a wonderful Russian eatery and a number of other things. Take the tour of the Coors brewery.
Answer 5 :
Trail Ridge Road, Estes Park, CO is the best workout! Start at about 7,500 feet and ride all the way up to 12,090 feet. About 22 miles of climbing non-stop with little oxygen! If you are up for a challenge, this is the ride to do, coming down the pass is the best part :)

What is the cost of registering my van in Colorado Springs?
I am Traveling through town and I inherited a van. It's a 1978 Ford Econoline 150 full size van, I am trying to see how much money I will need to raise to get it registered and get temp tags.

Answer 1 :
Unfortunately there is no way to determine up front how much it will cost as the Colorado Department of Revenue does not give out quotes by phone, etc. The cost of registration is based on age of the vehicle, weight, taxable value, purchase / acquired date, and type of plate requested. You might check out this link http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/Revenue-MV/RMV/1177024843128 for more information on forms and documentation required as well. Answer 1 :
aspen. its a great place and very nice
Answer 2 :
The Broadmoor is one of the best hotels in the country, top ten 5 star hotel so that could be a plus and its in a much larger city Colorado Springs, than Vail or Aspen so your chances of finding other work might be better. Marriot should also be considered since it is located in the middle of the city and around other jobs. You can compare the towns here to help ya out more! Good luck!

About Whats the best way to get from Colorado Springs Airport to the Downtown Bus Terminal

Whats the best way to get from Colorado Springs Airport to the Downtown Bus Terminal?
Im travelling to Colorado Springs from Australia for a few short days on a budget and need to travel as efficiently, but overall as CHEAPLY as possible from Colorado Springs Airport to the general Downtown area (bus terminal). From research ive done online it looks like the route via bus/public transport is to take Route 24 from Peterson AFB to Citadel Mall, then via Route 8 to the Downtown Terminal? Would this be correct, and what's the general mode of transport from the Internal Arrival COS Airport terminals up to the Peterson bus stop? Is there an airport shuttle that runs to the bus stop? Aside from using buses, what are my other options? Im also leaving Colorado Springs via Amtrak that starts with a bus service. Before i call Amtrak, can someone who knows, possibly confirm where Amtrak bus links/services leave from? Downtown Terminal? And to squeeze another one in, so i at least am prepared if needed, what's the average cost of a cab from COS to the Downtown Terminal? ( I should just clarify, when i mentioned the Downtown Bus Terminal, i mean the Colorado Springs Downtown Bus Terminal)
Denver - 2 Answers

Answer 1 :
You can take a Greyhound bus from Colorado Springs to Denver which would be the fastest and most comfortable option. You might do that going back once you got to Denver. http://www.greyhound.com/home/en/TicketsAndTravel/TicketsAndTravelInfo.aspx Here is the information on ground transportation from the Colo Springs airport. I don't know the Springs well enough to know exactly where the buses go in relation to the Greyhound terminal. Peterson field doesn't sound too close to the airport if I remember correctly. http://www.springsgov.com/AirportPage.aspx?PageID=1788 Cabs tend to be pricey. I would check with the shuttle services first. You might check with Colorado Tour Lines and Gray Line and see what they offer. The guided tour might be worth a few extra dollars.
Answer 2 :
Well at least you don't have to go to the Denver Bus Station. That would be expensive. First I'm not in Colorado Springs. But I did take a flight from there one time about 15 years ago. I used a shuttle from Denver to get there. I can tell you that the Airport is in the middle of nowhere. The is no bus service at the Airport. The general general mode of transportation to get the the bus stop you want , would be a taxicab. First problem, the cab driver would have a hard time finding the right place to let you out. If he did manage to let you out at the right place. You'd be waiting on the side of the road for up to one hour waiting for that bus. Then transferring to another bus that runs once an hour. Since you say you have only a few short days here, forget that plan. Don't wast your time that way. Just take the cab from the Airport to the Greyhound Bus Station 120 South Weber Street in Colorado Springs. I don't know the price. It will probably be a bit expensive, but at least you'll get there in 15 - 20 min, instead of hours. If you have any extra time you can walk around Downtown Colorado Springs, before you catch your bus. Enjoy your trip
